Postcare for New Partials
Partials are usually easier to adjust to than dentures. The teeth that your partial attaches to may be slightly sore the first day or two. A new partial may create a sore spot or two that needs an adjustment. If your teeth are sore for more than a few days or you have a sore spot, call us for an adjustment.
Clean your partial daily with denture toothpaste and brush. Pay close attention to cleaning the metal clasps that attach to your natural teeth. If the clasps are not kept clean, the teeth under the clasp are more likely to decay.
